Feels like this is in an awkward place now. The well-integrated oak spiced fruits have faded a bit, and the tertiary notes are quite shy. Still quite enjoyable with greatly textured palate and soft round tannins.

This year has 88% cab sav, 6% cab franc, 4% merlot, 2% Syrah. 100% new French oak too. Nice aromas with rich cherry and blackberry with vanilla notes. Taste is much the same with a touch of acidity. Beautiful wine with lovely finish.

Like velvet in your mouth. Absolutely lovely. Nice balance of dark fruit and complexity left on this vintage.

Full body, on the dry side, nice tannins. Dark fruits, vanilla, and some spice. Nice wine!

Wanted to try for a while, unfortunately a little disappointing, not bad but for me it lacked a depth of flavour and even had some bitterness. There is definitely licorice, blackberry and blackcurrant on the nose and palate but the complexity is lacking and not helped by a watery, metallic element.
