On the nose, citrus, melons, lemons, yellow apples, vanilla and oak.
Full bodied, bold and buttery with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with grapefruits, vanilla, limes, apples, almonds, wood, spices and black pepper.
Medium finish with bitter almonds and spices.
This Californian chardonnay is simple and balanced with some spicy notes. A little bitter for my taste, but better with food.
12.5% alcohol by volume.

All about what you pair it with, I think. Had a glass before I ate and didn’t care for it on its own—not much of a body. It accompanied the roasted garlic fondue quite well though!
