When I first open it up I got notes of charcoal bitter chocolate and charred cedar wood. As the oke characteristic started to wear off I started getting a little bit more Blackberry Cassis and maraschino cherry and a much smoother more supple mouthfeel.

My only issue is balance I think that the oak characteristics overshadowed the terroir of the grapes.
