I am rarely disappointed with a 97 Bordeaux. Don’t let the critics fool you. This wine has lots of mature Bordeaux character without that dry and dusty presence. The color is purple and not brick. I love this wine.

More geology dept basement wine. Surprisingly good - showing some secondary and tertiary savory characteristics without feeling tired. Would definitely pay the sticker price of $25 for this!
