The nose on this will challenge you! It’s intense as the label says and it’s truth in advertising: Old world cheese in a damp musky cellar comes to mind. That said, once you get past that, you’ll have a citrusy glide down a flavor profile of fruit, slate stone and minerals that gently zap your pallete on the exit to bookend the shock to your nose. Don’t serve this to first time wine drinkers: this is for folks who’ve played around a bit in the grape garden of taste.
