From the Cliff Lede Vineyard — luscious and layered. Decanted for an hour, as well as double decanted. Will open nicely: now enjoying blue and black fruit, floral and cassis on the nose. Bursts of blackberry fruit, cassis and chocolate, with dry tannins, smoke and pencil lead on the finish. Long finish at that—can’t wait to see how it opens throughout the evening. Luv it!

In magnum..luv the foil cap..."it goes to eleven". 1 hour decant (little sediment). A transfixing inky red color. On the nose: blue fruit, floral, cassis, black fruit. Taste: BlackBerry, graphite, minerals, smoke..semi firm tannins and a plush mouthfeel lead to a med- long finish...has more time to go. From the Rock Block series..names diff blocks for his favorite songs or albums.

The name for this blend comes from the "Beautiful Day" and "My Generation" blocks of our Stags Leap District vineyards. This wine underwent 18 months of elevage in French oak barrels, 80% of which were new. The 2012 blend is 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, and 1% Petit Verdot. 1,197 cases were made. "This wine goes to eleven."

Sitting by the fire sipping good wine while the boys are in the shower getting water all over the bathroom. Oh how wine helps take the concerns away!

Another "beautiful" wine from the rock block. Always a treat.

Now you're talking! Big in your face Cab. Fruit forward, tannins well balanced.
