Côtes de Provence Tibouren Rosé
It’s a nice rosé. I’m only going to mention what annoys me. Great richness but definitely lacks acidity. Seems a tad overripe, which pushes the alcohol up a bit (says 13%, I guess more like 13.5+% so try some slight alcoholic bitterness on the back palate). Also seems to lack concentration - I’m not looking for a monster, but this seems perhaps over cropped. Beyond all that - like the minerality, interesting depth. But, slightly disappointed. Think I prefer Tibouren / Rossesse as a red, not a pink.

Jun 14th, 2021i’ve been dying to try this forever. glad to finally pop the cork. i think this bottle needs some more time to mature. it has a rich, copper color and a lot of intense, complex fruit and mineral flavors. but it feels a bit too intense at this moment in time and even though it softened a bit on day 2, it feels like it would improve with time. it’s still fun to try, but i have a feeling that ultra young isn’t the best showing for this one.
