I have been wanting to try wine from this winery for some time now, mainly because of the fun label art and creative naming. It still holds true, if the wine has a wacky label, they are probably trying to make up for poor quality wine. This is nothing more than a conversation piece for a party. Bland, oddly tannic for a Zinfandel blend, and single dimensional. Not a bad deal for $15, but I won’t purchase again. Maybe some of their other wines are better?

I thought I'd love it, but it was very harsh when opened. After 1 day, the flavours really changed and I enjoyed it.

Purple hue. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, raspberry jam, vanilla, toast, sage, and hints of mushroom and pepper. Jammy and delicious zinfandel blend.

Big plum and jammy nose. Blackberry and cherries in the front. Really big. Smooth vanilla notes to finish. Remarkably balanced for something this big. Really a great CA wine that can stand up to a big ribeye w a Gorgonzola sauce. A bit of a cliche but would indeed pair well w/weed. Perhaps suggestive placebo effect, but it doesn’t suck!

Im at Depalmas Italian Restaurant in Athens GA and I am pleased with this blend: CHRONIC CELLARS - PURPLE PARADISE 2016 from Passo Robles - my fav little spot in Cali! 79% zin, 11% petite sirah, 6% syrah, and 4% Grenache. 14.5%ABV. It has all the spice of a great Zin and all the big bold dark fruit of a cab. Texture is amazing- velvet perfection with a slab of butter. This may be the perfect blend. A nice chocolate center and a not too dry finish. My new go to wine. KAPOW!

One of my all time favourites, rebellious Zin blend, like riding through vineyards on a Harley!
