I spotted this Pemberton - Frankland River Rosé at Liquorland recently - having not seen it before, I thought I’d give it a whirl. At $15 a pop, it was a risk I was willing to take. Supposedly it’s made from Merlot and since there’s very little online about this brand, I’d presume it’s produced by the Cole’s group? Though I could be wrong!
I have to admit the quirky label definitely jumped out at me. In the glass it’s an onion skin colour with hints of berroca and savouriness on the nose. In the mouth it’s juicy and cordial like with a flavour burst of navel orange and lemon. For $15 it’s pretty quaffable.
PS: #nofilter so you can see the colour 😜
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #tcweekdaywine #tctastingnotes
