Single Vineyard Colchagua Valley Carménère

Kinda smoky tasting. Quite unusual. Not sure I would go for it again.

WBG - well rounded, easy drinking, perfectly serviceable and enjoyable

Decent, had their red blend - was really impressed, so I tried their varietal carmenere. Inky, dark fruit profile w/distinct green edges, plenty of herbaceousness, some pepper, lil leathery goodness. Nice complexity on nose, medium bodied, silky smooth, more 1 dimensional on mid palate w/pliable tannins and bit of juiciness. Modest finish.

2020 vintage. A very nice carmenere, with slightly peppery dark tannins and full body without feeling heavy. A great weekday wine, especially for the price

From Valle de Colchagua. Very nice balance of fruit, acidity, and tannins. And a great value.

Good. Tried at Astor 12/6/18. Very nice. Around $12

Ripe bell-pepper and rich fruit provide a zesty nose. The bell-pepper rind quality pops up more on the palate. Overall a nice carmenere.
