I loved this. Nose tells you St Emilion, but nice blue fruit as well.

Riktigt kraftig och djupt koncentrerad. Lite flamboyant. Modernare tolkning av St Emilion och högra stranden, men med tydlig merlot-karaktär. Mycket elevage som hålls upp av frukten. Mörk bärighet, svart tryffel, cigarrlåda…

Initially lot of barrel notes, evolved into raspberry and plum. Licorice, spice, faint cocoa. Tannins we’re grittier than expected. Had with Inas Roast Chicken over Croutons.

Dark fruit, spices, truffles and bright acidity. While it’s young, it is still delicious. Give it 2-3 more years and drink it over the next 20 years.

Starts out rich yet clean while being well balanced. Finishes a hair on the bitter side. After decanting for an hour, the bitterness/tannins on the finish edge back closer to balanced.

A bit tight, but with air, this has tons of fruit and is not over oaked like some St. Emilion's. Nice acidity too, but tannins still need 5+ years. This strikes a nice balance between modern and classic. No rush on this.

Still a baby, needs a good decanting. Would not guess this was St. Emilion.
