Jan 20th, 2019Huge nose. 80 year old vines average age. Mega menthol, leafy, tree, resin, pine, spice, flowers. Absurd depth. Rich, grapey yet structured. It has energy but it wound up and can be so much more expressive. Very mineral.
Day 2 - beefy meaty nose. Floral. Darker. Vigorous. Animal. Forests. Terrific purity and depth. Unreal balance and acidity. Just so fresh and vivid. Black cherry. Sappy. So complex. Echoes. Incredible.

Palate is bright and energetic, with terrific fruit, sap and intensity. What vivid fruit. Special wine. What a core of fruit and terrific juicy structure. Elegant tannins and terrific length. Sweet cherry fruit and so many rocks and minerals at the finish. Lingering and pure. Knockout. Has decades to go but a great bottle.

Fun, enjoyable Beaujolais at a good price. Bright crunch raspberry and cranberry on the plate, red fruits spice and flowers on the nose. Perfect for the wedding.

Oh my....this is ridiculously good. Glorious bouquet, a veritable panoply of small fresh cool red fruits. The seduction continues w a palate notable for its finesse, length and freshness. Simply beautiful.

Best gamay I’ve ever tasted!
Youthful, super ripe and juicy in character. Red fruits, clay, cream, orange, dried chantarells, white pepper.

3rd time I've had in 6 months and one bottle was so much riper than this one. Finesse, perfume, spicy and minty. So delicious. Could drink it all day.
