Easily another 3-5 before this is ready, however it is damn nice and not like some 03s that are a mess. Currently finish is a bit short.

A little funk on the nose that quickly blew off. Unreal that this was a 2003 because it presents much younger. Many many years ahead for that one.

Hotter vintage showing itself here. Usual notes of blackberry, tobacco and earth, with much less depth than better vintages. Drink now, won’t get any better.

Very nicely aged Bordeaux. 15 years on the tannins are resolved, the fruit is evident but absolutely no rough edges. Cherry and a hint of tobacco on the mid palate. Excellent with a simple dish!

Lots of earth and ripe fruit. Concentration starting to wane. Fully open for business. Still much pleasure.

Beautifil wine. Great nose of fruit and earth. Wish it had a little more backbone. a touch thin.
