This is a beautiful, classic Languedoc red wine. The nose is bold and fruit-forward with notes of stewed plums, blackberries with a hint of smoke and earth. The palate is soft and supple with just enough acidity to hold everything together. Flavors of plum, dark berries, earth, violet and a touch of leather lead to soft, silky tannins. The finish is long and plush with lots of fruit and just a touch of spice. A wonderful wine. Perfect with a boeuf bourguignon.
