I have a very special place in my heart for Musar and when I saw this lone bottle of Jeune Blanc in the fridge during my first visit to Buvette post-COVID, the choice was obvious...particularly given this gorgeous, warm summer day. In the glass, this is a very light straw color. On the nose it’s citrus, pear and white flowers. On the palate, it’s a mix of lemon, minerals, melon and pineapple. The salinity on the finish was super attractive. This was an awesome pairing with cheese, prosciutto di parma and linguini with clams. This is a much different wine than Musar Blanc but serves its purpose with aplomb.

Lot of petrol on the nose which wasn’t my favorite but taste and finish were nice.

Honey and charred wood nose. Full, balanced acid, lots of character. Flavors of dried stone fruit, yum!

Has the lush, unctuous quality you’d expect from Viognier while maintaining some balance and acidity. A lovely entry level offering from a storied producer.
