Estate Bottled Napa Valley Chardonnay

Incredibly powerful aromas. I was getting wafts of plush fruit even as it was being poured almost a foot away from me. A closer sniff yielded a funky bouquet, with rubber and pencil lead predominant. Tannins have mellowed out significantly over 26 years but still maintained good structure.
