Medium garnet. Red berry nose. Bursting with big aromas. Raspberry, cinnamon spice, plums. Finish lingered for a minute.

Ruby in color with medium intensity and a reddish rim.

Fruity nose of cherries, strawberries, red currants, oak, smoke, vegetables, vanilla, earth, forest floor, green pepper, peppercorn, leather, mashroooms, spices and herbs.

Medium bodied with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with plums, cherries, vanilla, green vegetables, bell pepper, forest floor, spices, river rocks, earth, graphite, bitter herbs and peppercorn.

Medium finish with medium tannins and bitter almonds.

This is a nice everyday red wine from France. A little disappointing, though. Not fully balanced with a watery mouthfeel. A tad bitter for my taste.

Good right out of the bottle, but an additional year in the bottle will be a good idea. Better with food than just by itself. I paired it with a pear salad with goat cheese and grilled chicken.

14% alcohol by volume.

Approachably styled, with strawberry and red fruit notes prevalent.

Easy drinking wine, with a definite French Cotes Du Rhone flavour and style. After opening the flavours mellowed significantly, but overall a pleasing drop.
