Wow!- a 16 year old Bordeaux from a year not considered a classic. what I found was a seamless well integrated still drinking fine wine. the tannins and fruits were still doing their job. A pleasure to finish the bottle with my spouse of 45 years on Valentine’s Day.

Just lovely. Magnificent bouquet. Can only be a Margaux. Full flavor with discrete tannins. A little thin at the end, but drinking beautifully. A treat. 2004.

Plum, chocolate and looks nesting dust. Nice expression of Margaux. This is a little softer than the 2004 at this point, but hard to say whether one is better than the other. Two strong vintages of Lascombes

Very good. Tannins have softened considerably, but still some structure.
