Enjoyed this way more than I thought I would. Deep color, explosive earthy nose, spicy, black currant, tannic. Still drinking very young. Bravo!

Great Bordeaux for those who don't enjoy Bordeaux profusely.

Really great classic in an underrated vintage; small crop but superior quality definitely as good general health but I think better concentration obviously depending the properties and the winemaking but generally a good vintage ....

Last wine in flight three for the Bordeaux Master's Class at Heart's Delight with all wines from Margaux.

Deep garnet red. Rather elegant with some floral notes but still a little dirty and notes of dried red cherries. A touch nutty underneath as well. Solid acidity, rounded and well integrated with medium tannins (6.5/10). Layered with earth characteristics, mushrooms, leather, red berries, gravel and a hint of dark cocoa. Medium bodied and long finish. Still packs a punch with a touch of alcohol in the finish, but not unbalanced. Drink till 2033.
