Beef stew, why not pillage the cellar? This bottle of ‘83 Lanessan was a lot better than its label would suggest. Perfect cork, full bottle, nothing wrong except the age (should have been drunk ten years ago?).... nonetheless a satisfying glass of wine. Just about as good as the bottle we had with Amanda Galloway about a year ago (q.v.).....
