Touch Bretty but good Bordeaux. Relatively youthful. Drinking well but could go longer.

Loved every moment of this one. Was a bit one note at the end but still extremely tasty.

Purchased on release owc for under $30 showing Inky black & dark red fruits, forest floor, graphite, sweet spices & tobacco. Full bodied that is drinking well.

Very disappointing. 2003, cellared well. Well beyond its prime. Decanted for ~5 hours before tasting. Virtually no fruit left. Just a “raisiny” taste with firm tannins. Definitely not for me. Discarded the bottle.

One of the best vintages of this fab Chateau @ £52 drinking lovely now & next couple of years 👍

🍇 53% Cab S, 45% Mer & 2% Cab F

🍷 Deep ruby red

👃 Crushed wet mineral rock covered in earth & leaves w/ mocha, liquorice pushing through plump dark plum, squished blackcurrant & smokey oak

👄 Med body of silky smooth fully integrated ripe dark fruits in liquorice, mocha & earth

🎯 Med+ mocha liquorice dark fruit

A beautiful wine. Eucalyptus and spice on the nose. Lots of wet earth and clay with blackberry and gravel notes. Smokey finish. Wonderful.

#KWN Wine 3. From the get-go, clearly had some age to it. Exhibits initial cherry fruit, which immediately falls into the background. Secondary flavors of leather, forest floor and clay quickly overtake the palate. A Smoky finish with hints of eucalyptus. Opened up nicely over a couple of hours. Magical.
