Ruby color with no sign of aging. Pencil, dark berries, wood, leather, wet leaves. Opened 30 min ago but still needs time to open up. Less upfront tannin than several years ago but still enough to cut through steak’s fattiness. Awesome with food

A hint of Vegemite and tapenade with dry tannins is the first pour out of the bottle.
Thirty minutes in: Vegemite replaced by sour cherries. The 14% ALC is definitely noticeable and that’s the wine’s major flaw. My guess is that neither a merlot fan (55%) or a Cab fan ( 45%) will be thrilled. Drink up!

Beautiful. Balanced, delicate, supple. Fruit but noting overpowering, spice to complement.

Loving this pure Bdx example. Olive tapenade with smooth oak on the nose. Consistent palate. Beautiful presentation. Age is certainly its friend. Loving this coz it’s price was reasonable, and the quality is up there.

No sign of aging from the looks. Medium body that is still solid. Dark and red berries, wet leaves, soil and lead. Should drink well for 2-3 years

Medium texture with raspberry notes and a simple finish. Entry level offering from Margaux that was ready to drink. 87
