Opening the official "first night in the new house" celebration meal we have this 4 year old dry Riesling from Chateau Grand Traverse. Color is still pale straw with a little tint of honey from the age. Nose still has pear/melon/peach with some grassy and mineraly notes. Flavor finishes dry and tart with notes of pear, green apple, and a hint of wildflower honey. Very tasty with the little bit of age and can't wait to get back up to the winery with the girlfriend.
