Unlike the Genot the wood here is noticeable on the first sniff. However, it is not intrusive and blends beautifully with the honey and peach notes. In the mouth the nose continues to the palate but is joined by citrus nuances. No rush to drink but in a great spot.

Chardonnay as it should be made! This gem from a family owned property is home to stunning Chardonnay vineyards! Rich cream on the palate with lime curd, stone fruits the acid has beautiful integration. A long elegant finish

Enjoying some bottles along side the warmth of the chimenea, today is a brief respite for the seasonal weather, tomorrow brings snow again.

A typical P-F in my opinion, a little more oak influence than I typically like, but it's growing on me. It's young and had about an hour decant already, but still needs more air.

Good richness and texture and still fresh on Day 2. Within the next few years Pouilly-Fuisse will determine if vineyards will be elevated to 1er Cru, the Chateau Fuisse monopoles, Les Clos and Les Brulees, are part of the first few vineyards being considered.

Very good, a bit closed on the nose but creamy in taste. Needs definitely additional time in the cellar

Lovely wine with raw oysters and lobster. And of course, ravishing wife!

Really nice, the layers of apple, pear, lemons balanced with floral notes and clove and a very present minerality. Confident and vibrant.
