2016 vintage. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (49%, Merlot (49%) and Petit Verdot(2%). As it's holding back a lot initially, take your time or decant. Classic nose with cassis and cedarwood. Medium-bodied, high acidity, clean fruit, and good length with a mineral touch. Tannins are a little rough, better with food. Needs time. Certainly a good wine, but I believe there is much more potential here given the quality of the vineyards. With the new owner since 2019 exciting times are to be expected for this estate. Abv. 13%.

Cellars date back to 1843), although Chateau has kept the charm of a Medoc wine estate, it has modernized efficient thermo-regulation systems. Mostly Cab Sauvignon and Merlot with a splash of Cab Franc & Petit Verdot. Ruby with aromas of fruit and spice notes. On the palate blackberry, espresso and herb notes. Tight tannins, medium+ length, good balance ending with a toasty smoky character.

Vintage 2009 - smell with red fruit, cedar, chocolate. I like the classic nose, good balance, needs a bit more time because the wine still is a bit stubborn. Good effort!

A little less integrated than the previous 2000 Bordeaux (Fourcas Hosten) but more interesting, and more lively. I'm planning to open the last bottle in 2018.
