First night, quite good but distinctly green peppers. It was smoother than I expected. Second night, the green peppers notes went away. Very good

Needs even more time but this is great now. Mmmmmargaux.

👃 Blackcurrant, blackberry & dark plum bathed cocoa through light smoked oak w/ liquorice, blueberry & violets

👄 Med++ rich ripe juicy plump blackcurrant body w/ a chewy plum, mocha & liquorice twist

🎯 Long deep dark fruit mocha linger

Smell is dark not so floral. Taste is dark and dry. Anymore dry will probably be too much for me. Lots of cherry dark flavors or dark fruits. Good but not great

Spicy, funky, earthy aromas, very long finish

When tasting modern Bordeaux I am so often reminded of the wines I drank as a child. I almost always let down.

Intense black currant, gravel and pencil lead, big masculine style, not exactly what you'd expect from Margaux but really good
