Excellent choice by the wine director at a DC-area steakhouse. Quintessential #bordeaux blend taking advantage of an excellent year. Cigar box, faint violet, leather on the nose. Nice ying/yang balance of fruit and acidity and soft tannins. I believe the reasonably priced Bordeaux blends have really taken a big leap forward in quality over the last few years.
