Fleshy with cherries, tar, and a certain iron element. Open and inviting. It doesn't hold back.

Good. Touch of iron. Also a hint of natural wine funk. Lots of spice and blackberries, there is a lot going on here.

Tonight's wine is the 2016 Château Bellefont-Belcier. A Right Bank Bordeaux blend of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.

On the nose there is abundant black fruit, black cherry, blackberry, black plum, bbn lack currant, chocolate, tobacco, menthol, herbs, graphite, oak and earth.

On the palate the black fruit continues throught with black cherry, blackberry, black plum, black currant, green bell pepper, chocolate, toasty oak, tobacco and earthy flavors.

This wine is full bodied with a firm, vibrant mouthfeel and medium + acidity and high mouth coating crunchy tannins that lead into a long dark fruit finish. Let's have a wonderful weekend and please be safe doing so. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Great wine. Still has years to go yet. Smooth tannins, good acidity. Plum, blackberry, chalk, cedar, chocolate.
