Nice surprise of a lovely Bordeaux that aged well and showed wonderful style, makes me want to revisit the region. Great with meats. Second night shared with Margaret and sister with NC barbecue.

Dark red, oak on the nose. Dark and bitter berries, dark chocolate, toasted oak, sage and vanilla. Slight bitter tannin

Expecting more of a syrupy, dense, supple Bordeaux but got a less than version of that. Beautiful nose but not much going on the mouthfeel. Tannins abound; perhaps we should have let it breathe a bit more. A little disappointed on this particular bottle but #kermitknows

Good young Bordeaux... Supposed to let it breathe for at least 15 minutes in the glass or decant before enjoying!
