Charles Bove was founded in the 19th century in Montrichard, in the Loire Valley. Its base of operations was, and is, an enormous rock quarry, abandoned after it had been quarried for building the Loire Chateaux. Aromas of tropical and berry fruit & biscuit notes. The palate shows apricot, pear and mango flavors, some mineral & yeasty notes with fresh texture. Medium finish, champagne like, refreshing ending with gentle sweetness.
