Truly a brilliant wine. So youthful for its age (sure, only ten years, but this isn’t the Médoc), but everything poised in perfect harmony. The first sip raised my eyebrows for its immediate explosion of fruit; then came the lavender & violet on the mid-palate, followed by a long, savoury finish. Memorable and, at £16, an absolute no-brainer.
