Dry, crisp, high acidity, pineapple and lemons. Good wine for the price.

A perfectly acceptable white wine pairing for Swedish meatballs at IKEA... On the nose, pineapple, Golden Delicious apple... On the palate, again that ripe Golden Delicious apple flavor... Simple, crisp, and not too acidic. Medium apple finish.

When I was growing up, my dad used to buy mostly German white wines for serving at family dinners so we had lots of Riesling of various sweetnesses that my brother, sister, and I would often get sips of. Every once in a while, he'd buy a BC wine and more often that not these wines would be much greener than those German wines I remember. Rounding back to this wine, this is what I'm thinking about. A bright floral nose here with some green apple. On the palate, it's all about that green apple note. Maybe some freshly-picked quince in a bowl on the dining room table. I'm definitely thinking about green table grapes before washing where that fuzz is still intact. When I think of Chamberton, I think of their excellent Bacchus expression, but I think I may buy this one again too. Green nostalgia.
