This is the best pinot noir I’ve ever had. My dad’s birthday wine, the color is a pale, cranberry red, the wine isn’t that old, but the nose is VERY bold, with a nice blend of roses, velvety plums and cranberries. The flavor is the same, medium bodied, slightly acidic but not with a burn, with bright cranberry, raspberry, silky tannins, plum flavors and a slight chalkiness.

Lots of baby fat, this Pinot has more weight than you’d expect but it’s still got very tasty dark cherry flavors. Give it another year or two and it will be perfect.
