Dusty rose, and tar at first but then opened up more in the glass to a beautiful bright cherry and mushroom nose. Palate followed through with some deeper roses, leather, and smoked meat. Powerful acidity and tannin structure, aged very well.

Sourced from Flickinger. Cork came out perfectly intact and clean. Incredible brown light color. Decanted and oxygenated but needed the airtime. Beautifully light and refined with fruit coming through at the end. Really held up and showed well at 30+ years old

Thus is a *stellar* bottle. Fabulous nose. Wonderful structure. Clear, deep, sweet fruit. Wonderful.
