On the nose, this is an absolute kirsch bomb with some hints of licorice and spice. The palate gets covered with rich, dark cherry liqueur and Mediterranean spices. Medium-lowish tannin and medium acidity. It’s a bit simple but it’s an N.V. Vino da Tavola so let’s not get too carried away. This is more than satisfying and a great Tuesday night food wine. Undeniably good for the money. I mean, Cerbaiona? For $25? Crazy.

Extremely concentrated and very polished from barrique. Not really my preferred style, but very well made. It’s just that when the freshness ends, oak tannin prevails. So Cal-Ital.

Holy sh*t snacks! Bouquet was so amazing I giggled on first sniff. Bouqyet of sweet red fruit almost like compote finishing with tootsie roll and rasp/strawberry. Get it!

A field blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvigon, Malvasia Mera and Sangiovese

Will revisit tomorrow. More Brett and VA than I would have anticipated from a non vintage "house style"t able wine. ....day 2 dropped my score, this wine is rustic but is filled with flaws, left and right, can't stand it

Cerbaiono Rosso VDT: Lush. Bold. Complex. Smooth. A bright & unique red blend of Sangiovese & Pinot Noir, showcasing layers of flavors: red fruits, herbs, tobacco & spice. Cheers to awesome wine & pizza goodness 🍕🍷

Wine tasting bottle 2: Cerbaiona Rosso V.D.T. A beautiful red blend of Sangiovese & Pinot Noir. Complex & layered with bright red currants, pomegranate, dry tea leaves & a hint of spice (just to name a few!). A clear winner in my mind! Cheers🍷

Excellent #cerbaiona Vino Rosso. Serious Sangiovese / brunello profile. Better than many Brunelli. Could age for years but delicious now at opening & next day
