Bought 2 years ago on a Tesco offer. Glad I gave it the time in the cellar. This is a relatively smooth Cote du Rhone with an almost velvet feel in the mouth. There is quite a bit of juicy fresh fruit; cherries and strawberries. This softened a little and the wine feels well balanced. There is a long finish with pepper and spice. It went very well with steak pie.
