La Mora Maremma Toscana Vermentino

Beat wow I've had in a while

Delicious Vermentino especially since I usually consider Liguria to be superior to Tuscany for the variety. Rich and oily but still bright and refreshing.

Apple, lemon, honey, hay and dried apricot. Good acidity and balance.

Big pear on the nose with a hint on the initial palate - high acidity - a great palate cleanser for the start of an amazing lunch.

White for the non red sauce entrees

Light and fruity, perfect with lemon cookies
