A different Alsace Pinot Noir than I have ever had before. 1/3 new old, 1/3 one-year old oak and 1/3 old oak make for a fuller, more structured Pinot than most anything else in the region. Red fruits combined with earth and spice along with softer acidity than most create an enormously complex wine. Just delicious!
