Well past it’s prime, very tired. On the nose it is beautiful with notes of cinnamon, clove, pine resin, wet mud, decaying bark and potpourri. On the palate the fruit is gone, secondary and tertiary flavors remain. Maintains harsh tannins and high acidity. It has a very short watery finish. The score feels harsh but it is what it is.
