Loved this Piedmont Cabernet Sauvignon. Vineyard owner actually planted the varietal on the edges of their vineyard to keep wild boar (due to Cab Sauv grapes being so sour) away from their high volume Barbera vines. Happy accident or not, this wine is terrific! Opulent dark fruits with vanilla and black licorice aromas and flavors. Perfectly balanced acidity and smooth tannins. Obscure wine. Great find!
