Casa Saint Pierre Viognier pays d'oc 2020
Light Viognier which doesn't show the same level of complexity than a condrieu but which is a nice, simpler expression of the varietal. The nose is made of white flowers, pear, white peach and anise. The palate is a little more in line with my idea of a Viognier, there is this spherical palate with a velevety touch (apricot skin touch 😏), nice notes of yellow fruits, a good width, a good acid drive and a tiny bit of bitterness in the end. It's simple yet it does the trick
