This may be my first time trying the Monastrell varietal. Beautiful bouquet of red and black berries with a distinct hint of tartness. Wonderful blend on the tongue with more of the blackberries than red. Perfect and surprisingly tasty.

This wine has been produced using selected grapes from the vineyards located on the slopes of the “Sierra del Carche” in Jumilla, Spain – 700m above seal level. It has a fruity character, as well as being smooth and balanced on the palate. 80% Monastrell; 20% Syrah. Splash Wines
