Blend of Mourvèdre (60%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%) and Syrah (20%). First vintage that Syrah was incorporated into the blend. Rich, powerful and intense even after twenty years. Ripe plums and prunes on the nose and pallet with additional notes of pomegranate, tobacco and black pepper spice. Touch of minerality on the finish. Nice with smoked or grilled meat.
