C&B Reserve Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

A simple, dry cab with spices, plum, and tannins that create roundness and finesse.

Wow! Super black plum, raspberry, red cherry syrup , green bell pepper, blackberry jam! Rich jams but they are short lived on the body and the herbs don't quite show but a nice cracked pepper does. I find the wine a nice drink but not really up to par to the nose. A nice buy though! Don't pass this by for the money.

Dry and nice spicy notes

Typical Cab, nice bottle, neither here nor there

Black and some other berry on the tongue and nose. It’s okay.

No tannins, sweet and light.

Starts out bold and spicy but quickly fades. Gets better as it breathes. Nice wine but nothing extraordinary for the price.

Initial"bite" of tannins and coffee (?) fades quickly with no back taste. BUT swirl it and bruise it and let it breathe it becomes richer and a leather middle with a small back finish.

Not too shabby for a $20 cab

A tinge of sweet and fruitiness.
