Ripe and ready, pop and pour...I am learning not to think too much about these wines. Absolutely crushable and absolutely desirable. The alcohol, jammy ripeness, and viscosity of the young Carlisle’s just recedes into the background and the balance roars to the foreground. As always a classy, smile-producing dinner companion. Mike Officer is a national treasure!
