38%Cabernet Sauvignon+37%Merlot+25%Cabernet Franc. Medium ruby color. Very smoky, burnt wood, cigar box and leather right away on the nose, integrated with nice black currant, red cherry, plum and blueberry. Medium+ body, high acidity, grippy tannins, nice mocha and dark chocolate on the palate. Little bit over-oaked in my opinion, reserved style. Definitely need decanting. 13.5% alc. 2012 vintage

An enjoyable blend. A little more approachable now or short term.

Margaret River; blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc; so rounded, so peachy almost possible to detect varietal traits, so the blending is impeccable; streamline of juicy, minty, contained but delectable fruit flavours, wood plays little influence as does tannin; makes it more gulpable for masses; no tannin backbone, just juicy softness; #newwave #drinkaussie #drinkwa #westernaustralia #margaretriver #capementelle #wilyabrup #cmf #AUD50 #13.5% ; Wilyabrup is a sub-region of Margaret River known for top cabernet; interesting way to name a wine.

Great Bordeaux Blend from the Margaret River in Western Australia. Nice nose with hints of red fruit, licorice, and spice. The taste is somewhat old world, there is fruit, but it seems more earthy to me. Nice change from the big Fruit bombs I have been drinking lately.

Pleasantly surprised - not the fruit bomb I expected.

Plush, rich flavors that coat the palate and linger with Dutch cocoa, coffee, and black cherries.
