Made with left over fruit from the Clos Electrique and the Abbey Ridge. Killer stuff! Beautiful red fruits and earthy aromas carry to the palate. Discrete tannins and ample acidity. Well balanced, well crafted and ready to have on its own or with a meal. Great Pinot isn’t cheap, but this comes in at a fair price for a wine that is ready now or will age well in the cellar.

Awesome wine. Some funk initially, opened up with short decant. Strawberries, mossy bramble, some blackberries, more earth. Long finish with fruit and acid and rocks and earth. Love it.

I love these guys. Probably my favorite Oregon winery. Was a little worried about smoke from 2020 but got none of that. Could drink this all day. Strawberry jam and other goodness.

Pop and pour yesterday, to avoid digging into my Clos Electrique stash.. It's true there is a ton of bottle variation aa regards Brett in Cameron wines...my previous btl was evidently a lot Brettier than this one. This btl was stunning. Notes from 24 hrs open. On the nose: perfumed wild strawberry, soft mushroomy funk, spice. On the palate: fantastic acidity and density, dark raspberry, crushed stone, lovely tang, soft tannin on the finish. Yum.

Really opened for tomorrow. Poured into a wide-bottom decanter. This has 13.8% ABV, which seems quite high for a Cameron wine. On the nose: reminds me of the 16 reserve. Very ripe blackberry, soft plum, mushroomy Cameron funk, which is much softer than usual, soft cinnamon, clove and a touch of cola. On the palate: downright dense on the attack, and acidity seems softer than usual. Plum, blackberry, pomegranate molasses, an unusual alcoholic heat. Finishes dark with soft tannin and some bitterness.

Well, s*!t. That Charmes was spectacular, but this is next-level good. More umami, more spice, more funk, but never over-the-top.
