Medium reddish purple with aromas of blackberry, raspberry, sassafras, and pine needles. Intense dark berry fruit is evident on the palate but it doesn’t feel sappy or heavy. 100% whole clusters are fermented with native yeasts then aged 17 months in 30% new French oak. Reed Vineyard is the last to be harvested at Calera’s Mt. Harlan site. 14% ABV.

Black cherry and other red fruits with fine tannins and a snappy finish. Really well made and ready to drink with a brief decant. Delicious.
