Elegant expression of Sangiovese - maybe the most pure I’ve had in USA. Def fruit forward, but polished w/great extraction & density of cherry fruit mingled w/hint of leather but not much else. Not as fresh, more chewy than expected. Very nice albeit atypical - akin to hi end Rosso di Montalcino
