Last of the weekend '84's, this time in D-Mag. First off, thank you to the person or persons who kept this Wine Warehouse retail bottle well stored for the first 29 years. Excellent fill and spinning capsule. Benderized (San Diego version of Audouze) this for a few hours, followed by a double decant for sediment. Went from a slightly shrill, acidic, uninteresting wine to a gracefully balanced aged Cali Cab in about three hours and kept getting better. Still very dark with a nice cigar box nose. Not sure how a well-stored 750 ml would be doing, but this large format version could have gone another 5-10 years at minimum. Glad to be able to share it with Mrs A and with Albert, who also has a 1984 Anniversary, along with a few other friends:
